Award-winning writer and storyteller "Red Beard" entertains in the tradition of Celtic bards of old. His performances bring to life stories ancient and modern. With over twelve year's experience, Red Beard is known for his signature stories, such as the Celtic folktake "The Old Hag's Long Leather Bag" and his original tall tale "Empty Cupboard Cooking." With a Master's degree in literature, he is happy to tailor his tales to your specific event. School book faire? Pirate-themed birthday party? Artichoke festival? Gold Rush Days? No problem! Red Beard brings his teaching experience to the table for Language Arts enrichment workshops for both children and adults and works with teachers and librarians to dovetail curriculum with his visits.
