Schools & Libraries Red Beard is available for school assemblies, classroom visits, and enrichment workshops in History, Social Studies, and Language Arts, K-12. With three year's experience as a guest teacher, two year's experience as an intern teacher, and 20 semester units in Education over and above his Master's degree, Red Beard works with teachers to integrate his workshops and performances into their curricular needs. Shamelessly working to promote literacy, Red Beard is happy to visit libraries. "Tina & Liam in the Dragon's Mouth," in which a brother and sister battle an evil dragon to save the town's books, was developed for Fort Bragg's Friend's of the Library Celebration and later won 2nd Place in the Sacramento Public Library's California Writer's Contest.
